Meeting Place:
The Board of Directors meets on the 3rd Tuesday monthly at the Pinellas Park Public Library

Services provided:
One-on-one tutoring services in Basic Literacy is provided to English speaking adults at the following school sites: Dixie Hollins Evening School, Lakewood Community School, Northeast Community School, PTEC (St. Petersburg campus), and Tomlinson Adult Center. A sixth site, St. Petersburg College Seminole campus is scheduled to open in late May 2008.

Literacy Materials/Collections:
An extensive collection of books from New Readers Press and a variety of other publishers written especially for the adults with limited reading skills are available to tutors and students at each location. Computers with literacy software geared for the adult reader are also available at all tutoring sites.

Literacy Volunteer Tutor Training:
Tutor training workshops are scheduled three times a year. Each workshop is ten hours in length. In addition, an in-service workshop is scheduled at least once a year.
