READ Pinellas is the Pinellas County literacy coalition organized to coordinate resources, increase awareness, and involve the community in increasing adult literacy. We provide student scholarships for the GED examination fee; provide mini-grants for teachers, tutors and literacy providers; sponsor a county-wide graduation ceremony for adult graduates; support promotions and publicity for adult literacy tutoring programs and classrooms; underwrite expense for volunteer literacy organizations with insufficient budgets; and provide a networking forum for literacy providers.
