Services provided:
Even Start provides a comprehensive family literacy program which includes adult literacy, parenting instruction, early childhood education (birth to age eight) and interactive literacy activities between parents and children. Child care and transportation assistance may be available.

Comments:
Even Start provides services to qualifying families at three sites:

• Lealman Elementary, 4001 58th Avenue North, St. Petersburg
• Mt. Zion Human Services, 945 20th St. South, St. Petersburg
• Student Development Center, 1250 Holt Ave., Clearwater

Families qualify based on educational and financial need.
