Services provided:
The Literacy Council of Upper Pinellas (LCUP) is housed in this Library. They provide literacy tutoring in the Library and also tutor training classes. Library staff handles the scheduling of private study rooms for tutors and students. To schedule a study room, please call (727) 298-3080, ext. 255. LCUP provides free tutoring, including ESL. Tutoring is one-on-one and the day and time are arranged at the convenience of the teacher and the student. Literacy Materials/Collections:
The Library has a small Literacy Collection (about 650 items) geared for the new reader as well as ESL. Videos on basic English and ESL as well as audiotapes are also available in the Library's collection.

Literacy Volunteer Tutor Training:
Training classes are arranged by LCUP and are held in the Library's meeting room. Classes are offered four times a year and are free of charge.
