Teen Secrets for Getting the Job
The Pinellas Public Library Cooperative is partnering with Bank of America and Junior Achievement to present the teen job skills program, Hire Me!, in Pinellas County. Our libraries will host programs for teens in June, July and August 2012 at ten library locations. Programs will be hosted at member libraries throughout Pinellas and will include programming for teens ages 12-18.
Each library will host a program that will include information on interviewing skills, resume building, making a good impression with an employer and communicating value as teens seek employment. Our partner, Junior Achievement, has established curriculum in conjunction with Bank of America.
All programs will include incentives, giveaways, and educational games to strengthen the importance of essential job skills. Participants will also receive FREE meals during the two and a half hour long sessions. Come and join us as we launch our new year of valuable teen programming for youth in Pinellas County.
