Special collections are scattered throughout member libraries throughout the county. These collections include:


  • Clearwater Sun Archives - Main Library
  • Wickman Collection - A collection of books and materials about boating, yachting, and the sea - Main Library
  • Leadership Collection - A collection of books and materials on business leaders and leadership methods - Main Library
  • Florida Collection - A collection of books and materials (fiction and non-fiction) on the State of Florida - Main Library

  • In addition to the standard fiction, genre fiction and non-fiction collections in regular and Large Print for all ages, the Dunedin Public Library has an excellent audio-visual collection. This collection features DVDs, videos, audiobooks on CD and cassette, music CDs and interactive CD ROMs.

  • Foreign and Documentary Films - large separate sections for foreign-language films and documentaries


  • Parent Teacher Collection - resources on parenting, teaching, and homeschooling (located in the children's department, and designated with the letters PTC at the beginning of the call number)
